2 weeks ago I was pissed off about the result of ANTM Cycle 10, tonight I'm disappointed with the result of another reality contest show - Eurovision. After all, it's all about political voting.
Political voting trắng trợn đến mức em ngồi đoán cũng ra. Ông BLV thì có vẻ fed up với cái kiểu predictable voting, tới lúc Croatia chuẩn bị công bố kết quả thì bình luận: "Let's see if they are gonna give Serbia 10 or 12 points."
Winner năm nay, Nga, thật là lởm. Nhạc sến, chú ca sĩ thì đảo đưa uốn éo, được mỗi thằng skater phô mấy quả lướt vớt vát được phần nào. Hy Lạp có vẻ popular, lúc đầu điểm lên ào ào tưởng thắng đến nơi rồi mà cứ tụt dần để rồi về thứ 3. Bài hát của Hy Lạp có lẽ là bài hát nghe catchy nhất năm nay nhưng chả có gì đặc sắc, y chang mấy teen pop chiếu trên TV. Em hơi lẫn giữa Ukraine và Armenia vì màn biểu diễn của 2 nước này đều nhạc bông bốc, gái sexy váy ngắn nhún nhảy với mấy vũ công nam.
The Big 4 are pretty unremarkable. Spain - probably poked fun at Eurovision and it was so lame that was actually kinda cool. France was just chilling out. UK - always so shitty recently that people were just interested to see if they could "outworse" the year before. Germany was blah, like a girlband trying to make a comeback.
Surprising, the two songs move me the most are not in English. Though I couldn't understand what they sang, the performances from Israel and Serbia clearly stood out. Đoạn mở đầu của Israel sent shivers down my spine. Còn Serbia lẽ ra phải thắng năm nay thay vì năm ngoái nhưng có lẽ voters không muốn nước này thắng liên tục 2 năm (hay vụ Kosovo cũng ảnh hưởng đến chuyện voting?) nên Serbia chỉ về thứ 6.
